BAR SCREENS & TRASH RAKES
Bar screens are open channel coarse filters installed upstream of the traveling band screens to remove large size solids and protect downstream equipment.
The material selection is in accordance with the treated fluid and ambient conditions.
An automatic trash rake can be included in the supply, designed to remove the collected debris from the bar screen. These rakes can be operated manually, via an onboard PLC or remotely by a separate Water Intake control system or directly by DCS.
